I am in Berlin and I’m lovin’ it!

1) you remember all these strange things about Postdamer Platz: it was in No Man’s Land, there was a big red box and it was the world’s largest Baustelle.

2) You live within your Stadviertel and go to “Mitte” with guests

3) You think Berlin is the cheapest place on earth

4) You consider Berlin to be a really great place

4) you still wonder where the second Bahnsteig at S-Zehlendorf leads to. And where do the extra tracks at U-Schlossstrasse go to?

5) you were annoyed when the BVG decided that a 2 hour ticket was only for one-way.

6) you had to cross the Christopher Street Day Parade on your way home from shopping.

7) you know why there is a cargo plane sitting just off of Clayallee.

you remember when the U3 was the U1 and even when it was the U2.

9) you can navigate the U- and S-Bahn network without thinking about it.

10) you’ve been to Lange Nacht der Museen.

11) Doeners are a daily meal

12) the Metrobus network confuses the hell out of you.

13) you’re not surprised at hearing about a city with real lakes and forests in it.

14) the Reichstag will never be the “Bundestag” to you.

15) people tanning in the nude is considered normal in parks.

16) you take public transportation even when you own a car, because you found a perfect parking spot a week ago and don’t want to lose it.

17) You are no longer annoyed with the subway taking 5min to go from Ernst-Reuter-Platz to Zoologischer Garten

18) You consider the Siegessaeule and the Brandeburger Tor an obstacle in the way going from TUB to Alex.

19) You avoided the inner city during the Love Parade.

20) You think it is normal to be in a city with three airports, way more than three universities, and way more than three train stations

21) For you Hauptbahnhof will always be Lehrter Stadtbahnhof and Suedkreuz will always be Papestrasse.

22) You keep your distance when a car with a license plate indicating OHV/BAR/MOL/HVL/PM/TF or LDS is around.

23) You even love the “Plattenbauten” cause they are a part of the city

24) You consider a weekend trip to the Ostsee, to Hamburg or to Poland normal.

25) You are poor but sexy.
